Arriving at an isolated farmhouse for a weekend holiday, David and Leah hope to fix their breaking relationship. Leah explores the surrounding woods taking photographs, capturing the ghostly blur of a figure in the background. After disagreeing about what the image could be, David finds a solitary tree lit in the dark night sky. A torch lies at its base, shattering the couple’s hope of isolation.
Leaves premiered in competition at the East End Film Festival where it was nominated for the Best UK First Feature award.
