Digging peat for food and board on a rundown Scottish Highland croft, Georgios discovers the stark difference between choosing to disappear and losing yourself completely.
As He Lay Falling premiered in competition at the 68th Edinburgh International Film Festival. It won the Directors Jury Award at the 16th International Short Film Festival of Soria and Special Mentions at the 11th Reykjavik International Film Festival and the International Short Film Festival of Cyprus. It was released online through BFI Network and NoBudge.
