A Greek stranger endures self-imposed exile on a rundown highland farm until exploitation from the Scottish landowner and her jealous English partner force him to face his past.

As He Lay Falling is being adapted from the short film of the same name with support from Screen Scotland and the BFI Network. The screenplay was developed with Berlin based story consultants Solace23, selected for the New Talent Strand of Film London’s Production Finance Market at BFI London Film Festival, and further developed through Edinburgh International Film Festival’s bespoke feature programme Talent Lab Connects.
